Instead, when you click a product link on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer (eBay, Etsy, or others), at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you came from our link.
Where the links go
- eBay: links are tagged through the eBay Partner Network, live today.
- Etsy: Etsy's affiliate program runs through the Awin network. We've identified the program and application path but have not yet been approved as of this writing — Etsy links on this site are not currently commission-tagged, and will be updated transparently once approval comes through. We link to Etsy because the shops are genuinely the best picks for the occasion, not because of a commission.
- Amazon / Bookshop.org: not yet joined — any future links will be disclosed the same way.
What we won't do
- We won't invent urgency ("only 2 left!") or claim a live price we haven't checked — you'll always see "check current price" framing instead of a number we can't verify in real time.
- We won't fabricate reviews, sales figures, or a maker's existence. Every shop on our Maker Rows page was checked live before we linked to it — see our curation criteria.
- We won't accept payment for placement in a guide or maker row.
